Like a budget version of the Mighty, the CFX delivers dense and strong hits, has a 90 minute+ battery, and sports a big colour display. At a price considerably lower than the Mighty, and lower than many less powerful vaporizers, the CFX is a great option for beginners and more experienced vapers alike.
Although it's a fair bit cheaper, I think the Boundless CFX still feels like a good quality product. Its body has a rubbery outer shell with heat-fin like ridges which keep it comfortable to hold, even when it's set to the higher temperatures.
I really like the big colour display- it shows the temperature, the battery life, and the time left on your vaping session. The unit also vibrates when it reaches temperature and when it times out, making it really easy to use on the move. Although it's bigger than many modern portables, it's still comfortably pocket-sized, and the added battery life is a real bonus.
The plastic mouthpiece is sturdy, and the flavour is pretty good. It's really easy to disassemble and clean with vipes or by soaking in DC Clear.
Overall, although I prefer my vapes to have a glass or ceramic mouthpiece and, ideally, convection heating, I think the CFX is a great portable vaporizer at a very reasonable price that delivers powerful and dense hits, and is extremely simple to use. Smokers in particular will love it- because at the higher settings it pumps out thick and satisfying clouds, just like a plug-in home vaporizer!
