XMax V4 Pro is an advance technology, pocket-sized heat-on-demand convection vaporizer for dry herbs and concentrates that is designed for easy and discreet use. The full convection heating combined with adjustable airflow, a fast heat-up time and easy-to-use interface means you get dense, tasty clouds in seconds with no bother.

Top of the list of great features is the on-demand mode, which only heats the herbs/concentrates for 30 seconds at a time. This reduces waste as you only heat the oven (0,15 g capacity) when you are using the vape. Those who prefer the oven to stay heated can use the session mode for 4 or 6 minutes of continuous heating. The airflow control has three settings so you can dial in fresh, airy clouds, or dense thick hits, just as you prefer.

XMax V4 Pro's convection heater gives you a better flavour, more evenly vaped material, and more vapour than most conduction vapes. It's simple to use and you can quickly select the mode and the temperature from five temperature settings between 100°C and 220°C.

The glass mouthpiece doubles as a water tool adapter, so you can pair it with your chosen 14.4mm or 18.8mm water tool for cool, fresh hits even at high temperatures. The mouthpiece can be disassembled for easy deep cleaning.

XMax V4 Pro is equipped with a high-quality rechargeable, removable 18650 battery, providing about 50 minutes of use on a full charge. The USB-C charging allows you to charge fully in under two hours.

Customers praise this vaporizer for being "easy to use and clean" with quick heat-up time and excellent value around £100. The improved mouthpiece delivers better flavor than previous models. However, several shoppers noted restricted airflow even at maximum settings, with one describing it as "trying to suck a golf ball through a straw." The small oven capacity suits microdosing but may frustrate those wanting larger sessions.

  • Great vape, nice easy draw, reasonably quick heat up time.
  • Perfect! Just what I was looking for its now my go to. Easy to use and clean.
  • The new glass mouthpiece produces better flavour. A great vape for the money.

The XMax

The XMax.The “drag” takes some getting used to. I’ve taken the gauzes out in the mouth piece & the vent underneath. I was struggling getting a good pull. I use the dosing cap which is fiddly but it keeps everything clean. I learned you’re better to put the dosing cap in upside down with the lid at the bottom. It seems to work better for me. Also the oven is tiny which means no going back for a second session with the same herb.
It’s a nice quality device & the screen is great. It heats up so quick.
I find myself holding it like a cigar & pulling on it like a big fat blunt.
I prefer it against my Crafty + so that’s a bonus seeing as the Xmax is a lot cheaper.
The battery seems to stay charged for a long time which is another plus.
Would I recommend it? Yeah at that price definitely.

Excellent, better than the V3 Pro

The new glass mouthpiece produces better flavour than the old V3 Pro. The V4 Pro also heats up really quickly and produces decent clouds. This model feels sturdier than the V3 Pro. A great vape for a the money, it doesn't hit as hard as my Veazy, but it's much value for money.

Great vape, nice easy draw, reasonably quick heat up time. First one developed a fault but was swiftly replaced with a brand new one.

Fantastic robust daily driver

Fantastic robust daily driver, very convenient to pack and empty the bowl on the run, great for microdosing - 0.20g oven capacity, airflow is similar to an MTL, so expect long gentle 8-10s inhales, flavour is great on first 2 puffs and also are the clouds especially on that 2nd hit, hits hard on higher temps, I like to run it in it's 6m session mode and temp steping it starting from 185°C and finishing at 220°C, you will be very happy with this vaporiser if you don't mind the slightly constricted airflow, also grab an extra 18650 while you're at it, Happy Medicating!

Extremely poor airflow

The only complaint I have about the Xmax V4 Pro is airflow. Even at maximum airflow it feels a lot like trying to suck a golf ball through a straw.

The new mouthpiece is outstanding, I’ve tried it on the V3 predecessor and the airflow is much improved (in comparison with the original glass mouthpiece).

So it’s a real shame that the new design of mouthpiece doesn’t get a chance to shine on the V4. My advice to anyone thinking of upgrading from the V3 to the V4 Pro would be to stick with the V3, and replace its mouthpiece with the V4 version.

Very Disappointing –Weak Hot Vapour,Weak clouds, Poor Battery

The vapour is really weak and I barely get any clouds from it. Coming from a Dynavap, it felt like a massive step down. I’ve used a Pax 2 as well (which I’m not a huge fan of either, but it’s better than the V4 Pro.)

Some people say there’s a technique or learning curve, but I tried all of that and got the same poor results.

I bought this to replace my lost PAX Plus

I bought this to replace my lost PAX Plus. I didnt want to have to buy another one but needed to to stay legal with my prescription. I'm beginning to accept that there isn't an affordable one of these on the market which aren't an absolute inconvenience and hassle to use. I spent more on the V4 because of the threaded battery cover instead of the magnetic one to discover that the oven lid is magnetic. The oven is absolutely tiny and if you've got working man's hands its a total nightmare to fill. The dosing capsules are the size of my little fingernail so are totally unusable for me. I cant get the On Demand mode to work either.

This is the second and last vapouriser I'll buy, I'm not wasting any more money on these things.

Decent kit once you learn to use it correctly

Difficult to get to grips with but good once you dial it in to your own specifities

Decent vape

Even fully open, the inhaling feels slightly more restrictive than the v3 pro, contrary to some reviews. Otherwise fine.

Amazing vaporizer

Amazing vaporizer. The only thing I wished was bigger is the cauldron container to fit more herbs. Other than that it is an amazing product and will defo buy it again if needed.

Great vape -again.

I didn't really need this as I have the v3 pro as well but I got the v4 in the 420 sale and thought i'd gift my v3 to a friend to help the journey. The v4 is pretty much the same as the v3. colour screen but im not sure thats really necessary. the adjustable airflow is good, better than the v3 from that respect but i'm not sure its a game changer. My v3 did have a slightly damaged cap, another reason for the upgrade but it still worked properly. I also have a tinymight which is fantastic, but i don't use as much as the xmax just because its four times as expensive and has glass inside that i'm paranoid i'm going to break. Anyway, if you haven't got the v3 try the v4 as i don't think you can get a lot better. Oh, and the main reason for the v3 purchase - and the tiny might - is the on-demand mode. i never use session mode and can't think i ever would. TLDR recommended vape for on-demand mode.

Impressive upgrade from the V3

I have long been a fan of the cheap and cheerful XMax V3 Pro, and was intrigued by the V4. I am NOT disappointed.

I've only owned it for about an hour and I'm in love. I'm pretty much exclusively a bong user with a very high tolerance - and the vape from this is so much more powerful than the V3 (with less effort) that it feels like smoking a joint to me. But cleaner and with a much better high. Recommend.
