Battery Safety

Many of our vaporizer devices are powered by Lithium Ion batteries, which are perfectly safe if handled correctly, but can be dangerous if mishandled. It is your responsibility to use and care for your device and batteries in a safe and responsible manner.

Carrying your device and batteries

When not in use, your vaporizer should be turned off or set to "lock" mode, this will prevent your device from accidentally firing and overheating.
Make sure that your device can not come into contact with other metal items in your bag or pocket, as this can, in rare cases, cause a short circuit.
Always carry spare external batteries in an individual box or a special battery case- this will prevent short circuits.

Charging your device and batteries

Always use the charger and mains adapter that came with the device.
Avoid vaping on your device while it is charging.
If you are using a device that uses external batteries we highly recommend charging with a Xtar charger: these are high-quality battery bay chargers with overcharge protection.
DO NOT charge overnight or when unattended.

Your Batteries

Always use original branded batteries and buy your batteries from a reputable retailer.
Do not let your batteries get wet.
Don’t use damaged batteries- even a small tear in the wrapper can be dangerous.
Appropriately dispose of damaged batteries.
