Spot on!!

I bought the long clear one for my tinymight.
Turns it into a lovely attachment for using through water.Well pleased.

A little disappointing

The long version doesn't cool as well as the VF (Easy Flow) Cooling Mouthpiece, as others have mentioned.
It doesn't seem as fragile though, and it is easier to clean, so it's good to have it as a spare.

I don’t use the splinter without it

I own both versions, but use the long mostly. With the method I use for the Splinter Z, the XL8R keeps the vapour nice and cool. I wouldn’t use the splinter without it. The reason I chose this over the cooling mouthpiece is this looked easier to clean, although I hear the cooling mouthpiece by VF performs better. To clean I put it in a 93ml Kilner jar full of iso with the basket separately, turn it after 20 mins as around 30% sticks out of the jar. Then 20 mins after soaking the other side rinse under the tap, dry it with a hair dryer, and it’s good to go. The Kilner jar I bought from Amazon for around £3, you just put the lid back on and reuse the alcohol. I change my iso every week
