Don't get me wrong here. These turp pearls can be used in any dab rig but I tried one on my Peak Pro. Using a ruby turp pearl in a Puffco Peak Pro is a matter of personal preference. Some people claim that it enhances the vapour production and flavour of their extracts, while others say that it causes more splashback and damage to the ceramic chamber. I bought 2 x 4mm ruby pearl from Vapefiend. The chamber of the Puffco Peak Pro isn't that big so I only used one pearl. I have always used a pearls in some form or other in my nails. I did some research as I wasn't convince a pearl would make a difference in the chamber as the new Puffco Peak Pro 2023 comes with the enhanced 3D chamber which is touted to even out the heat spots in the chamber. According to some web sources, the recommended size for a ruby terp pearl in a puffco peak pro is 3mm or 4mm, and the best way to make it spin is to tilt the device slightly and adjust the airflow. I tried these tips and the smoke inhaled seemed to be more milky and if anything not as harsh as usual. I also read that some users also recommend using the oculus carb cap and the tether to prevent losing or dropping the pearl. Therefore, it is up to you to decide whether you want to try using a ruby terp pearl in your puffco peak pro device or not.
