The Santa Cruz Shredder is a seriously tough, extremely powerful, and surprisingly easy to use grinder with a revolutionary design and unrivalled performance and build quality.

With the help of Computer-Aided Design, the team behind the Santa Cruz Shredder were able to put right the common misperception that has driven all grinder design: that sharp-edged teeth are the best tool for grinding herb. Their discovery: sharp-edged teeth become dull with time, and often break, contaminating herb with tiny flakes of aluminium. The unique square and blunt tooth design of the Santa Cruz Shredder cuts herb in multiple ways, without slicing or smashing it, but instead fluffing it to perfection every time, and is guaranteed for life.

The Santa Cruz Shredder also benefits from a revolutionary propietary threading pattern, designed to eliminate the problem of binding and permanent seizing of threaded parts. The threaded surfaces are anodized to prevent damage and wear and tear. The more pronounced "knurled" grip of the Santa Cruz Shredder allows for an improved grip, so that the grinder is easier to rotate.

The four-piece Santa Cruz Shredder uses T304 Micronic Precision Woven Non-Fraying Stainless Steel Screen, the most optimal micron size of any grinder on the market, minimizing the risk or dust and other impurities getting through the mesh. The magnets are super-strong Neodymium Diametrically Magnetized Cylindrical Rare Earth Magnets, Nickel-Copper-Nickel triple layer coated for maximum durability and protection against abuse & corrosion, and again, guaranteed for life. 

Totally scratch resistant thanks to its anodized aluminium surface, and free of contaminants from the manufacturing process due to strict medical grade ultrasonic cleansing procedures, the Santa Cruz Shredder is entirely made in California, USA.

Brilliant best grinder I've ever used worth the money. The herb seems to have more flavour and double the amount of flower compared to my old headchef.and very good price compared to anywhere else

I love this grinder I have always bought cheap grinders in the past and I can honestly say you pay for what you get, and nothing comes close to this one. It also never gets blocked and the grind is always very fluffy.

Also, I would argue that this is currently the be-all and end-all of all current grinders on the market.

Haven't come to cleaning properly yet so can't speak of that and no, the ridiculously lovely mesh screen doesn't catch so much kief but the things a beaut and enjoyable every time.

Don't think just get one.
