Good guard but doesn't work with stand

When you add the guard the stand no longer fits. The FT is amazing but this is really short sighted design. The guard won't fit through a Qaroma ceramic stand either, so I've taken it off. The stand needs a wider gap to accommodate guard users.

Peace of mind

I love my Freight Train. But you never forget that you've essentially got a hot burning coal on your desktop. Adding the guard is easy, there's a step by step video on YouTube. Once installed it is still hot to the touch but you won't burn yourself. It's still not exactly cat proof but it does make the whole set up a lot less worrisome and, like I said in the title, it gives peace of mind. An essential accessory for the Freight Train!
